Graduation....

..... It's a word known by most. It's a day most of us look forward too. It's the day you get to celebrate and remember after being in school for over half of your life. To most of us this is the day you say goodbye to most of your friends. I thought Graduation would be this big deal and I would be sad but I wasn't. You don't really realize until you're a senior that after Graduation there's this thing called 'SUMMER' and you don't really say goodbye to your friends because you have all summer to hang out with them and being the teenagers that we are we think this summer is going to last forever. Let me tell you, it doesn't. Towards the end of summer you do start to get a little nostalgic because you realize this is what graduation is supposed to feel like. My official high school graduation was at the beginning of the summer but last night I had my real Graduation. I got to see all my friends that I had seen all summer and some that I hadn't. There were some people there I'd known since Kindergarten and some I'd only met this year. I loved all these people though. They were my class. They were the people I'd ridden the pep bus with to the out of town football games at the beginning of the year. They were the people I'd stood with at countless amounts of basketball games. These were the people I had camped out with on a football field all night long the night before the last day of school. These are some of the most awesome, drama-filled, hell-raisers, and some of the most interesting people I've ever had the honor of meeting. I would not have traded, my Graduation, last night for anything. Thank you class of 2011. We will go our separate ways in a couple of days but this past year will live forever in us.
